Young Jews asked to write soldiers

A letter-writing campaign is being launched to boost the morale of Israeli soldiers on the eve of Israel's Independence Day. The campaign, coordinated by the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Israeli Defense Ministry and the Israel Defense Force, is encouraging young Jews to write, e-mail or fax letters to soldiers involved in the current operation against Palestinian terror. Letters can be sent to Letter to Soldier, POB 92, Jerusalem 91000, Israel. They can be faxed to 972-2-621-6133/6214; or e-mailed as an attachment to lettertosoldier@jazo.org.il.
