One of the outstanding Jewish sites on the Internet is The Jewish
Virtual Library. Their map site kept me on longer than I thought
and their section on Jewish Treasures from the Library of Congress had me so
interested that my ice coffee was warm when I got to it.

Even as news sites get better, we often want to read something which
has nothing to do with terror, crises or politics. If this sounds like
you then look at Israel 21 century. The site is clean,
information up to date, with articles on as varied topics as biotechnology,
fighting forest fires, and a points of view section. Their interactive
cabinet is a must see considering all the firings and hiring in the
government. It must take a lot of effort to keep it up to
date.

Want to join the Israeli army? Even if not, the Mahal 2000
site, designed by one of the volunteers, has all the information you need.
The flash presentation is a nice touch and best of all, once you have seen
it, it is very easy to bypass the next time you need to visit.

Read articles published in the Azure: Ideas for the Jewish Nation magazine online.
Topics include Jewish and Israeli thought from the Jewish state and around the
world. Through diverse contributors from across the religious and political
spectra, Azure champions the strength and relevance of Jewish tradition and
the centrality of a strong, free and Jewish State of Israel for the future
of the Jewish people.

Even though the holidays are over, we still need to eat. Jewish Food offers
hundreds of recipes, including meat, dairy and vegetarian. They even list
over 20 recipes for chicken soup! In addition, the site has a section
called "Kosher Komedy" to keep you laughing as you look for something else
to eat.
